I work at the YMCA, where him and Mrs. Pat would often come in together to exercise. He was such a kind soul and will be deeply missed by his friends from the Y. Continuous prayers for the family.

Gene and I were classmates and were members of the 1961 graduating class of Waycross Senior High School. I remember him as a very quiet guy. I know Gene will be missed by family and friends.
