Steven A. Gitter died peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. He was born in Appleton, WI on October 13, 1954.

Steven graduated from Appleton West High School, after which he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Following his release from the Navy, he moved to Stevens Point, WI. Steve was employed by Kmart till their closing.

He enjoyed the great outdoors; especially fishing and biking.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Jenny Gitter as well as his brother, Richard Gitter. He will be deeply missed by Barbara Gitter, Jim (Cate) Gitter, and Ann (Jay) Grosskopf; and newphews, Kyle Grosskopf & Joshua, Seth, and Zachary Gitter.
