She was preceded in passing by her husband, Donald Junior Hasch; parents, Edwin & Emma Borgeson; daughter, Cheryl Feeney; grandchildren, Tyler & Jennifer Feeney; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Doug Hasch. She also leaves behind many friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.

Evelyn was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where she would later meet Donald Hasch at the roller rink. Together, they were united in marriage on February 4, 1950 and to this union two children were born. As a family, they moved to various locations with Don’s job working for the gas pipeline. They moved back to Omaha, Nebraska, where she would become the owner of a grocery store. In 1962, the family moved to Lake of the Ozarks where Evelyn was the owner of Digger O’Dell’s Resort for twenty years, where she raised her family and ran the resort with her husband, until they sold the resort and retired.

In her spare time, she enjoyed roller skating in her younger years and more recently working with ceramics. She was also a member of the Pink Ladies and Acapella Vocal Group, Sweet Adelines.

Evelyn made a profession of faith and was a member of Camdenton United Methodist Church, where she also sang in the choir.

She was a loving mother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.

The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the 3rd floor nurses who cared for Evelyn in her final hours. They made her passing calm and peaceful and the family is very thankful for all their care and compassion.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2023 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
