Rondey A. Jones, age 59, of Jarrettsville, Maryland was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland to Luther and Minnie (Wyatt) Jones and passed away on January 16, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired in 2003 from Telegenix, where he worked as an electronic technician. He was currently employed by Corbin Bus Company where he really enjoyed working as a school bus driver. He loved the kids on his bus and spent many hours thinking and talking about them. When he was not busy getting dirty, crawling under & behind something, driving someone to or from somewhere in their time of need, or a myriad of other small tasks that were enormously helpful to anyone and everyone, he enjoyed playing word games, watching movies, fiddling around with computers, reading manuals, and occasionally making dinner. He was always in charge of Christmas breakfast, where everyone looked forward to his biscuits and gravy. He especially loved spending quality time with his youngest nephews, Miggy & Eli.

Rondey is survived by his wife of 37 years, Angelina Jones; sons, Benjamin (Shannon) A. Jones and Andrew P. Jones; daughter, Angelina M. Jones; brothers, Doyle A. Jones and Larry A. Jones; and sister, Glenda M. Petty.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Delmar A. Jones.
