Linda Sue Cook of Innisfail, Alberta passed away at home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the age of 58 years. Linda was born in Innisfail, Alberta but was raised and brought up in Caroline, Alberta with her father, brothers and sisters. She was full of love, laughter and happiness. Everyone she met she greeted with kindness. Linda raised four children with her loving husband and also raised four grandchildren. She was strong, inspiring, loving and very selfless. Linda always put everyone she cared about ahead of her. She was a hard worker and always did the job right. Linda was always there if someone needed help and you would always see her with a smile on her face. She loved animals, especially cats. Linda and her husband, Allan, always had their home open to anyone in need. She will be truly missed by all of her family and friends; she left a positive impact on everyone. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Allan Cook, her three sons, Andrew Waunch of Innisfail, Alberta, Joey Cook of Caroline, Alberta, and Joshua Cook of Innisfail, Alberta, her daughter, Ashton Earle of Innisfail, Alberta, as well as her thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers, Donald Waunch of Lacombe, Alberta and Richard Waunch of Sundre, Alberta, her two sisters, Colleen Thera of Regina, Saskatchewan and Jane Eckland of Drayton Valley, Alberta. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Howard Waunch and Daisey Jean Waunch (Brown), her sisters Margorie Cressman and Lori Waunch and a brother, Dennis Brown. A Public Visitation will be held at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, 4415 – 49 Street, Innisfail, Alberta on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at the Kurt Browning Arena, 5103 – 48 Avenue, Caroline, Alberta on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Linda’s honor may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at www.heartandstroke.ca.
