Erma Dora Lange
<p> </p><p>It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Erma Dora Lange on January 8, 2023. <br> </p><p>She was a devoted wife to her husband Emil of 65 years and when his life was fading she too started to fail and passed away the day after her beloved. </p><p> </p><p>Erma was born in New Sarepta, Alberta and lived there until her family moved to Chilliwack in 1948. It was there she met Emil and they were married in 1957. They moved to Hope in 1963 where they raised their family and remained for the rest of their lives. Erma was happy in the home, making meals and tending her garden. She always had homemade cookies or other baked goodies in her freezer to share with whomever might drop by. Her solid quiet faith in Jesus sustained her throughout her life. She was involved with her local church teaching Sunday School for several years. </p><p> </p><p>Erma is survived by her daughters: Barbara (Ralph), and Janice (Bruce), her grandchildren: Rebecca, Sarah (Jordan), Esther (Robert), Hannah (Alex), Paul and Caleb (Rachel), her 8 great grandchildren, her sister Ruth and several nieces and nephews. </p><p> </p><p>A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 949 Third Ave, Hope BC. </p><p> </p><p>The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Fraser Hope Lodge.
