Patrick Joseph O'Connor, age 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 12, 2023 after a long illness.

Born on March 17, 1935 in New York City to John and Florence (Rountree) O'Connor, Patrick is predeceased by brothers George and Bernie and sister Mary Conroy. Patrick graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School before entering the U.S. Army where he proudly served for 24 years.

The army took him around the world, but he settled his family in Arizona in 1974 claiming it, "God's Country." After the military, Patrick continued to work for the federal government until his retirement in 2000.

Patrick was a WWII history buff and had a lifelong obsession for music. Above all, he loved his family and his country. He had no regrets and lived life his way.

He is survived by Jean, his beloved wife of 65 years, daughters Kathleen Collins and Carolyn Bliesener, son Ryan, and seven grandchildren, Joseph, Sean, Katie, Meredith, Peyton, Claire, and Colin.
