Charles J. Corbin, 71, of Harrisville, died January 12, 2023 in his home. Born in Denver, CO, he was the son of the late Albert and Thelma (Law) Corbin.

Mr. Corbin worked as a machine operator for the Fred F. Waltz, Company, until his retirement in November 2017. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Charles was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed woodworking and his electronics. Above all, he enjoyed playing with his grandson, Ollie.

He leaves his children, Matthew T. Corbin of Greenville, SC and Charles G. Corbin and his wife, Julianne, of Johnston, and their mother, Mary Lou (Smith) Corbin of Chepachet; two grandchildren, Oliver N. Corbin and Aubrey Blue; six siblings, Jim Corbin and his wife, Judy, of Chesapeake, VA, Ernest Corbin and his wife, Cynthia, Cathy Corbin, and Carol Schwartz and her husband, Steve, all of Chepachet, Frank Corbin, and Danny Corbin of Danielson, CT; and many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held under the direction of the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
