<p><br></p><p></p><p>Mikeous Markeem Freeman was tragically taken from his earthly home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, in Portsmouth, VA.</p><p></p><p>Mikeous Markeem Freeman was born on September 6, 1993, in Portsmouth, VA to Tammy Freeman and Michael A. Mayfield.</p><p></p><p>Mikeous Markeem Freeman graduated from I. C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, VA.</p><p></p><p>Mikeous is predeceased by his brother Johnnie Cleveland Gore Freeman, and grandparents William and Ruby Freeman.</p><p></p><p>Mikeous leaves to cherish fond memories of him; Mother Tammy Freeman Williams, Father Michael A. Mayfield, and Stepfather Darryl Williams; his Fiance’ Alexis Miller; One brother Michael A. Hill (Kelly); One Sister Titianna Burgess (Jerome); Ten Nieces, Trinace Crowder, Madisyn Freeman-Davis, Emmarie Freeman, Erise Freeman, Makenzie Murphy, Myra, LehNiya and Raye Hills, Ta’Nyla and Ta’Nerra Burgess; and 2 Nephews J’lynn and Jeremiah Hill. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.</p><p></p><p>Mikeous affectionately known as “Mike Mike” by many people who loved him unconditionally. Mikeous was a kind, gentle, humble young man that always had a warm, friendly engaging smile on his face. He enjoyed working for Hiller Fire Protection Life Safety Company located in Chesapeake, Virginia where he considered his co-workers his extended “work family.” He loved his trade skill work installing fire alarm systems in residential homes and businesses locally and afar. Mikeous had family and friends that would call upon him to provide electrical assistance in their homes, churches and businesses (hooking up flat screen televisions, installing ceiling fans &amp; light fixtures, Ring doorbells &amp; cameras). Mikeous provided aid to Cavalier Manor Little League concession stand in the spring of 2022 by providing electrical assistance. The concession stand kitchen circuit breakers continuously kept blowing out the kitchen appliances. Mikeous volunteered to help and came right in and corrected the electrical malfunction. He was the kitchen staff saving grace!</p><p></p><p>Mikeous loved life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed, and our Family has lost a true jewel that we will treasure his memory forever in our heart!</p>
