Christian Hope Brown

<p>Christian Hope Andrews-Brown, 40, of Jesup, GA, was born on August 21, 1982, to Johnnie Andrews and Lauria Fields Thomas in Jesup, GA. She was later adopted by the late, Walter Brown. She grew up in Jesup, GA, where she received her primary education and graduated from the Wayne County High School. Following high school, she attended Georgia Southern University and obtained her Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts. She later attended Armstrong Atlantic State College where she furthered her education and obtained her Medical Laboratory Science Degree. After graduation, Christian started working for An Med Health Hospital in Anderson, SC, where she worked as a Medical Technologist for 4 1/2 years. She was also a former employee of Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, Georgia. Her last place of employment was at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where she worked as a traveling Lab Technician. Christian was a former member of Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church in Jesup, GA, where as a child, she sang in the choir. She was also a former church and choir member of King David Baptist Church in Anderson, SC, where her Pastor was Johnny Goldsmith. Upon moving back to Jesup, Christian joined Turning Point Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor Justin Mitchell. Christian was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. In her spare time, she loved cooking, baking, reading and music. She really loved and had a passion for traveling and eating at fancy places.</p><p><br></p><p>On Thursday, January 5, 2023, while in Washington, DC, Christian departed this world and transitioned to her new home. She was preceded in death by her loving, devoted and adopted father, Walter Brown.</p><p><br></p><p>She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving mother, Lauria Fields Thomas (stepfather, Denzil), Jesup, GA; her grandmother, Louise Brown of West Palm Beach, FL and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.</p><p><br></p><p>There will not be a wake/visitation.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, @ 1:00 p.m.. at Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church, 401 W. Pine St., Jesup, GA 31545.</p><p><br></p><p>Masks are required for everyone in attendance.</p>
