A sweet angel (our mother) has joined Our God in Heaven.
Marilyn Joy Yanke (Thomas)
February 2, 1934 - January 6, 2023

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother Marilyn. Marilyn was born February 2, 1934 and passed on January 6, 2023 at Wetaskiwin Hospital. Marilyn resided in Wetaskiwin, Alberta at the time of her passing. 

Marilyn is survived by her sister, Patsy Baldry; brother, Keith (Beaver) Montgomery; sons, Kim Yanke, Dale (Barbra) Yanke, Kevin Yanke, Shawn Yanke; daughters, Sherry (David) Blanchard, Shane Heap (Dale); grandchildren she cherished dearly, Karlie, Kyla, Lance, Deanna, Darren, Darla, Mystery, Sheri, Jesse; great grandchildren, Freeman, Owen, Gavin, Lily, Nathaniel, Kohlton, Kaden, Austyn, Kali, Caitlin, Montgomery, April, Benjamin, Clinton, Alex, Brandon, Brayden, Shae, Rylan; as well as other extended family and friends. 

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Edward Laverne Yanke (1999); grandsons, Uriah Heap (2020), Richard Yanke (2022); great granddaughter, Keily Cipperley (2007).
