Robert Edward Turner (Bobby) was born December 22, 1941 in Randolph County,

Wedowee, Alabama to the late Willis Turner and Julia Ann Holloway Turner, who

preceded him in death. He grew up in the Church of God In Christ where he was

actively involved. He attended and graduated from High School in Alabama.

He later moved to Atlanta where he was employed for 30 years at General Motors,

until retirement. He also served in the Military, United States Army,

5 years active duty and 5 years reserve with an Honorable Discharge.

His life exemplified the Fruit Of The Spirit - (Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering,

Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance).

His greatest Attributes were his love for God, His Family and Mankind. He was a devoted

husband and father. With his friendly, caring and giving demeanor, he never met a stranger

and would help anyone he could. He had a sense of humor, was always happy and full of

joy. He could and would defuse any adverse situation to reflect positivity. He was an astute

business man, with analytical skills that always resulted in the best outcome. An awesome

cook was he, until the point his sister-in law was jealous.

His enjoyments were, vacationing, gardening, sports, dancing and hiking at Stone Mountain.

He received his Degree from Blayton Business College, where he met the love of his life Rudene (Chester) Turner who preceded him in death. They were married June 21, 1969.

He leaves to cherish his memory 2 beautiful daughters, Valerie A. Turner Riverview Florida,

Erica Turner Lithonia, GA, a sister Marie Williams College Park, GA, 4 other sisters and 2 brothers

that preceded him in death and a host of other relatives and friends. Bobby finished his course January

6, 2023. A Life Well Lived. He is now with that cloud of witness cheering us on.

So, let us run our race and finish our course, Looking Unto Jesus The Author and Finisher of Our

Faith. AMEN
