<p>It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stefan Scherer on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Trillium Hospital Mississauga at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Elfriede for 62 years. Loving father of Brigitta and Caroline. Proud grandfather of Conner and Margaret. Predeceased by his parents Wenzel and Elizabeth, and sister Herta (Rene). Steve will be deeply missed by many extended family and friends. His love for family and friends is a cherished memory, as is his boyish humour. Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, a Service will be held for invited guests only.
