<p>Jim Topor passed away peacefully at home in Morristown on Sunday at the age of 57.</p><p><br></p><p>Jim was born March 7, 1965 in Norwalk, CT to Fred and Jane, brother to Terri and David.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a graduate of Morristown Beard School followed by Bucknell University. On October 11, 1992, Jim married Megan Harris of Hopatcong, NJ. They lived a life filled with love and laughter and raised their three children in Madison, NJ creating long lasting friendships and countless memories.</p><p><br></p><p>As a member of Morris County Golf Club, Jim enjoyed as much golf as the day allowed, and served on the board for several years. Jim was also a board member at Good Grief, an organization very close to his heart.</p><p><br></p><p>.Jim worked in HR at various pharmaceutical companies over the years, Schering Plough, Merck, Pfizer and then at Celgene where he spent 10 years prior to retiring to start his own HR consulting company.</p><p><br></p><p>A fan of all sports, Jim's favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers and the household was full of all things black and yellow. Notre Dame football was a close second and Jim went to as many games as possible in South Bend while his son was a student.</p><p><br></p><p>His gentle spirit resonated to all who knew him, and his family was the pride and joy of his life. His favorite memories were created in Tortola, the place he called our home away from home and where the family gathered each year to celebrate life and happiness.</p><p><br></p><p>Jim is survived by his wife Megan Topor, daughter Kyra Topor (husband Patrick Lackey), daughter Drew Topor (fiance Henry Flugstad-Clarke) and son Jimmy Topor, his parents Fred and Jane Topor, sister Terri Leary (husband John Leary) brother Dave Topor (wife Diana Topor).</p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 13th at the Church of Christ the King, Blue Mill Rd., New Vernon at 11:00AM. &nbsp;In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jim’s memory to Good Grief (www.good-grief.org. Thank you.</p><p><br></p>
