Clara Bell Warren Johnson, age 83, passed away peacefully in her home on January 5, 2023.  Clara loved gardening in her flower beds, spending time with her family, fishing any chance that she got, and cooking.  She could be a tiny package of stubborn dynamite if she needed to be, her family loved that about her.  

She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Tilda Warren, her husband Jesse Dawson Johnson Sr, her son Jesse Dawson Johnson Jr, one daughter Vickie Carol, and one sister Dottye Compton.  Clara is survived by her brother J.R. Warren, two sisters; Nina Cantrell & Flora Kemp, one grandson Ryan Johnson, and a host of family and friends.

There will be a visitation service held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Maley-Yarbrough Chapel with services to start at 12:00pm.  The interment will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
