Dylan Michael Cromwell, born October 25, 1993 in Washington, D.C., passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2022 at the age of 29. He is survived by his parents, James “Jim” Jullian Cromwell Jr. and Judith “Judy” Wanda Cromwell, his brother, James “Jay” Jullian Cromwell III, and his sister, Barbara “Brooke” Cromwell.

Dylan grew up in Rockville, Maryland. He attended the St. Albans school in Washington, D.C. and graduated in 2012. Dylan was an athlete. He played football, swimming, and lacrosse during his time at St. Albans. He then went on to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity and received a degree in Economics in 2016. Dylan then moved to McLean, Virginia and went on to have a career in software sales at Technomile and Paperless Parts. He was a beloved son, brother, friend, and proud dog dad to his dear dog Roxy.

A funeral service celebrating Dylan’s life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 109 S Washington St, Rockville, MD 20850. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Special Olympics Montogomery County (SOMO), a cause close to Dylan’s heart. Dylan’s brother Jay Cromwell has been a long time SOMO athlete and Dylan, along with his mother, Judy Cromwell, father, Jim Cromwell and sister, Brooke Cromwell have all been long time volunteers with SOMO.
