In his 88th year, comforted by his children at his side, passed away at his McGarrell Place residence in London on Saturday January 13, 2018. Son of Emil and Margaret Olson. Beloved husband of the late W. Bernice Olson (Dilling). Devoted brother of sisters Leila Walter (Jack), Irene Gillespie (Bob), and Connie Laycock (Ross Hill) and families. Loving father of Elizabeth Filan (Brian) and David Olson (Wendy). Proud grandpa of Nathan and Paul Filan, and Connor Olson. Retired professor, P.Eng. U.W.O., Allan will be sadly missed by all. A memorial reception will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 3:30 p.m. The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in his name.
