Jeffrey "JJ" Alexander Jameson


Mr. Jameson, 46, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews, NC following a courageous four-year battle with cancer. Jeff was born September 19, 1966 in Belleville, Illinois to Dorothy Walters Jameson and the late Thomas Jameson. He was a strong, dependable leader and mentor not just through his profession but also through his entire life. Many people will miss his love, companionship, and his honest opinion.


JJ is survived by his adoring wife of 20 years, Crystal Gayle Jameson of Matthews, NC; sons, Allan Jeffrey Jameson (AJ) and Alexander Logan Jameson; daughter in law, Nicole Jameson; granddaughters, Ava Jade Jameson and Alexa Nicole Jameson. In addition to his mother, Dorothy Jameson, he is survived by two brothers, Thomas and Christopher Jameson and two sisters, Sheila Swanson and Abby Hester; six nephews and four nieces.


A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.
