Lance Parnell 'LC' Cochran

Lance Parnell Cochran, age 66, was born April 21, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to Clarence and Willa Mae Cochran. Lance served in the Army from 1971 until 1973 after which he served in the Army Reserves. He later retired from DCSC (Defense Construction and Supply Center) after 30 years of service. “LC” as he was affectional called, loved fishing, tennis, music, ping pong, basketball, and watching OSU Football. He most enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was an exceptional man. He never met a stranger. Lance took care of his family, friends, and neighbors. On Sunday, June 11, 2017, Lance went home to be with the Lord. He is predeceased by his father, his mother, his father-in-law Clarence Haley, his mother-in-law Anita Mae Haley, and his brother Steven Cochran. LC leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife of 43 years, Rhonda (Haley) Cochran; children, Laina Cochran and Lisa (Maurice) Thomas; adopted daughters of his heart, Janina Thornton and Shana Byrd; brother, Gary (Saundra) Cochran; sister, Candy Cochran; step-mother-in-law, Alberta Haley; sisters-in-law, Gloria (Cecil) Crockett, Debra Harris, Velva Cochran; brothers-in-law, Vincent (Virginia) Haley, Gary (Francine) Haley, and Clarence McAlpin; grandchildren, JaydenThomas, Jaila Dorsy, Javon Dorsey, and Haley Thomas; nephews, Keith Haley, Martin (Jan) Cochran, Michael (Melissa) Cochran, Maurice Tuff, Daniel (Janel) Haley, Seth (Harmony) Haley, Jamie Portman, Simeon Haley, and Silas Haley; nieces,, Nikita Bland, Jasmine Cochran, Lydia Wesley) Brubaker, Aisha Haley, Naomi Haley, Sara Haley, Phoebe Haley, and Kathy Winstead; great friends, Richard Booker and Donald Booker; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
