Raymond K. Parker, age 71, passed away on December 29, 2022 at Laurelwood Nursing Home in Jackson, Tn.  He was a rifleman for the United States Marines.  The ones that knew Raymond simply called him "Country."  He had a passion for trading, and he was a friend to anyone that he met.  The term "down to earth" fit him to the tee, all the way down the the overalls he wore each day.  He made a life long friend in a local gentleman named Ryan Payne of Brighton, TN. Ryan continued to care for Mr. Parker during his last few months, along with the staff at Laurelwood Nursing Home.

A graveside service for Mr. Parker will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 11:00 at Covington Memorial Gardens, with Military Honors.
