Kevin Costello passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on December 29, 2022, at the age of 64 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Even though Kevin suffered for so many years, he never let his cancer define him. Born August 3, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, Kevin, number 7 of 9 siblings, had a need for speed, was fluent in sarcasm, read every book he could get his hands on, was a master woodworker, was not known for sitting still but rather always doing something, knew the importance of creating business relationships and lifelong friendships, and was a jokester and prankster to the core.
Kevin’s love for his family – especially his mom and dad – knew no bounds. But no love surpassed that which he held for his daughter McKenzie. He loved her effortlessly and endlessly. She was his rock, his angel, and his forever friend.
Kevin is survived his daughter McKenzie Costello, his ex-wife Nan McGuire, and his eight siblings, Sue Frye, Chip, Mike, Dave, Kacy Curd, Joan Newell, Jen Howell, and Kelly Birchby, and was preceded in death by his mother and father, Regina and Martin Costello.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s memory can be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
