Mesa, AZ – Warren Robert LaPlante, 86 died after a long illness Jan 2nd, 2023, at Brookdale Baywood Nursing Home. He was born Mar 30th, 1936, in Detroit MI, The son of Fred and Gladys LaPlante.

Warren graduated from San Diego High School in the class of 1955. Following Graduation Warren went on to have a distinguished career with the JCPenney Co. His career consisted of management positions in California, Nevada, Washington and culminated as the Store Manager of the Cheyenne WY store. After a 37 year career Warren retired to the Phoenix valley residing in Gilbert and Mesa.

Warren married the love of his life Carol (Hamilton) on Jan 30th, 1956 and remained married for almost 67 years until the time of his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Gladys (Berube) LaPlante, Three Brothers Gaylord, Donald, and Richard and one son Curt LaPlante. He is survived in death by his loving wife Carol Voncile (Hamilton) LaPlante, son Kenneth Laplante and spouse Brenda LaPlante, son Keith LaPlante and spouse Brenda Lee LaPlante and daughter JoAnn Page and spouse Brian Page. Additionally, Warren is survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 Great Grand Children and countless Nieces and Nephews.

A catholic Mass will be held in remembrance of his life on Saturday Jan 7th at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery and Funeral Home, 1562 E Baseline Mesa, AZ, 85204 at 1:00 PM. Internment will follow at a later date at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
