Frank D. Fullajtar, Jr.

<p>Frank D. Fullajtar, Jr., 80, of Cranbury, known to family as “Dan” or “Danny”, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at RWJ Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by his loving family.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in St. Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick on September 7, 1942, he and his family lived in and visited many different countries. While living in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia his father supplied his carpentry skills for the beginning of the ARAMCO Oil fields. During this time Frank and his father completed a sailboat together, working on it across free time and breaks from the project.</p><p><br></p><p>From Edison High School, he then attended the San Marcos Military Academy in San Marcos, Texas. During the academy Frank joined the US Air Force and was stationed in Thule, Greenland under BMEWS (Ballistic Missile Early Warning System) with secret clearance. He was honorably discharged on May 3, 1966.</p><p><br></p><p>Upon returning to the states, he joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters &amp; Joiners of America as a proud Union man up until the day he died. Frank’s love for animals was abundant, from all the outside critters he fed, to all the inside pets he constantly spoiled. The last few years he enjoyed sitting on the front porch with his best four-legged friend, Finn watching the world go by. Up until he was physically restricted, he loved to fish, do carpentry, scuba dive, relax in the pool, surround himself in nature, cook, and enjoy cigars with his dear friend and “brother” Gabe who passed years ago. He also liked to watch and share his love of old movies and DIY videos with his grandson, Sonny, along with spending time with his “mini-me”, Jesse.</p><p><br></p><p>Predeceased by his parents, Frank, Sr. and Helen Urban and his dearest friend, Gabe; he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Ann Ochsner; his children, Gordon, Chelsea, Maggie, Ginger and Daniel of SC and Danielle of FL; his sisters, Jane and Judith and her husband, Kurt; his son-in-law, Sal; his grandchildren, Sonny and Jesse DiDonato and Parker of SC; his son-in-law, Robert; his grandchildren, Marshall and Moriah Walker of FL; his great-grandchild, Ezekiel Walker of FL; his two nephews, Don and Ken Matey, and his other nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Frank is also survived by his dear friend, George Hartrum; and his sister from another mother, Meryl Sanchez and her husband, Nick.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. as well as Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at A.S. Cole Son &amp; Co., 22 N. Main Street, Cranbury, NJ, with a procession for interment at the Brigadier General William C.
