Michelle Morway, 55, of Columbus, Ga went to be with the Lord, December 22, 2022 at St Francis hospital surrounded by family.

Services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Gentian Baptist Church at 2:00 pm according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Michelle was born July 9, 1967 in Ft. McClellan, Al to James R Jones and the late Veronica Jones. She spent most of her childhood as an Army Brat. She graduated from Shaw High School and began working at Synovus bank and continued to work there for over 21 years. Affectionately known as Nan to her grand babies TJ, McKinley and  aunt Sissy to her nephew Liam and niece Jones. She treasured her time with her family and close friends.  She had a deep love for God and a big giving heart. She cherished her time at Gentian Baptist Church where she volunteered in the nursery and adored her babies there. She loved animals, especially cats, and volunteered many hours at Animal Arc. 

Michelle leaves behind her daughter, Ashton Pate Robbins (Wil), son, Kyle Pate (Rebekah), grandchildren, TJ, McKinley, father James (Ron) Jones, sister, Jaime McCann (Joshua), niece, Jones, nephew, Liam, many other cousins, aunts and uncles.Gone too soon and she will be dearly missed.
