Jane M Lemaire, of Westerly Rhode Island, passed away on December 27, 2022 after a lifetime of battles associated with juvenile diabetes.

Jane was born on August 30, 1962, to Jean and Buddy (Joseph Paul) Lemaire in Westport Massachusetts.

Jane met Kevin Crompton in 2000, and they married October 17, 2004. They traveled to Rome and across the southern part of United States with her favorite spot in Savannah Ga. Jane is survived by her husband Kevin, siblings Ann Soares, Lois Bettencourt and Paul Lemaire, nieces and nephews and her cat Trouble.

Jane always found ways to fight through the countless battles that fell upon her. Jane lived a full life with many friends and family by her side. She took in and cared for cats, dogs, birds, a rabbit and even chinchillas. She understood the value of life and wanted to demonstrate that understanding through her love for animals. One of her favorite activities has always been enjoying ocean beaches.

During her employment she made many friends at Catholic Memorial Home, several retail outlets, and eclectic shops. She loved shopping and the color pink.

To honor Jane’s last wish, her ashes will be spread in the ocean off the coast of Westport Massachusetts in mid-summer 2023, the exact date is not set at this time.
