Jill L. Beals, 58, of Effingham, IL passed away on December 27, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Friday December 30, 2022, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 on Friday morning at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery.

Jill was born on August 31, 1964, in Tuscola, IL to Blaine and Freda (Reisner) Robinson. Survivors include her children Jordan Beals (Stella Brown) and Ally (Eric) Ostrowski; grandchildren Emilia and Max; sister Rita (Brad) Cox; brothers Monte Robinson, Rick (Dawn) Robinson and Jim Robinson. She was preceded in death by her stepfather and mother Jack and Freda Shepherd, her father and stepmother Blaine and June Robinson.

Jill worked as a bank teller for many years. Jill enjoyed any activity that involved spending time with her family. She supported her children at events, enjoyed mushroom hunting and antique shopping. She loved any adventure that involved being with her sister as they were often seen laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Memorials can be made to the Humane Society.
