<p>James J. Grubb, 37, affectionately know as “Jay”, passed away on Dec. 18, 2022. He was born Oct. 11, 1985 in Des Moines, IA to proud parents Jeff and Patricia (Dockstader) Grubb. James is preceded in death by his 4 legged companion, Copper, his baby girl. He enjoyed scrapping. James was a handyman who loved to work with his hands, always helping anyone in need. He was a pretty reserved person always minding his own business. Most of all James enjoyed spending quality time with his partner Kyle, they supported each other no matter the situation. James is survived by his partner, Kyle Barker; parents, Jeff and Patricia Grubb; brother, Joseph Grubb. At his request cremation, no formal services at this time.
