Charles R. Moyer
<p>Rev. Charles R. Moyer, 89, of Loyalsock Township, died Dec. 24, 2022 at Celebration Villa of Loyalsock. </p><p>He was born June 10, 1933, in Yoe, a son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Fought) Moyer. </p><p>He graduated from Albright College, United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH, and was ordained in 1960. He served several churches in the Central PA conferences. He served at Pine Street United Methodist Church where he was director of the Bell Choir, sang in the Chancel Choir, and was a member of the Williamsport Music Club and Chi Rho singers. </p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul. </p><p>Surviving is his wife, the former Rev. Jean W. Watts. </p><p>A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St., Williamsport with Rev. James Wooster and Rev. Dr. John Piper officiating. A viewing will be from 10 - 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. </p><p>In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church. </p><p>Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville. </p>Obituary
