Carrie Jane Petit, 64, of Hamilton, Ohio gained her wings on December 16, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Carrie was born on June 21, 1958 in Tiffin, Ohio to Charles and Eileen (Ledbetter) Petit. Carrie touched many lives while here on Earth and her smile could light the darkest of rooms. Carrie enjoyed living life to the fullest at all times. She was a hard worker and worked many jobs all while raising her family. She was known as “The Cleaning Lady,” and would go above and beyond in those duties. Carrie always kept busy and anyone who knew her would know that if she came to your home to visit, she wouldn’t leave without cleaning it. Her Florida home was Carrie’s happy place where she would travel often to stay, taking in the beautiful views. If she had a weakness, it would be having to pass a Dairy Queen without stopping. She loved those Reece cup Blizzards, and she wouldn’t just buy for herself, she would be sure you to buy you your own. Carrie was very involved in her family’s lives and never missed a thing. Family was everything to her and she loved them deeply. Her Grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved spending time with them at home with frequent sleepovers, trips to the beach, camping, and waterparks. Carrie has left a lifetime of great memories to all who loved her. She lived her life out of love and compassion for others, was very protective of her family and would put their needs before her own. Carrie definitely made the world a better place and will be deeply missed by many. She will forever be in our hearts.
December 16, 2022 will always be a day to remember. Carrie Jane Petit started her new journey as the heavens split open and received an angel who touched so many hearts.
