Delores "Dee" P. Fleming, 81, of Decatur, passed away, Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello, IL. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at First Baptist Church, 1320 Arbor Drive, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 4 - 7 PM Friday, August 31, 2012 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be at North Fork Cemetery. Memorials: CareTrak, c/o Delores P. "Dee" was born July 19, 1931 in Decatur, the daughter of Willis and Louise M. (Schuman) Johnson Sr. She married Robert "Buck" Fleming May 13, 1951 in Decatur. Dee was affiliated with the First Baptist Church. She was employed at T.J. Maxx, Haines and Essick Company, St. Mary's Hospital Gift Shop. She loved to read, play bingo, cards and played softball until her early 40's. She was a PTA volunteer. She was a secretary for Khoury League for 10 years. She served as treasurer of Oak Grove Park Concession Stand. Dee leaves behind her children, David E. (Debbie) Fleming of Decatur, IL, R. Doug (Kathy) Fleming of Littleton, CO, Sandra (Ted) Born of Cerro Gordo, IL, Sue Kinney of Decatur, IL, Judy A. Fleming, of Decatur, IL, and Jill (Jim) Lorentz of Littleton, CO. "Adopted" Son Norman Keel, of Argenta, IL; Brothers: Marlin Johnson, of Eugene, OR, and Delmar (Lea) Johnson of Antelope, CA, and sister-in-law: Betty Johnson, of Eugene, OR, grandchildren Rob Fleming, Eric (Rachel)Fleming, Sarah (Joe) Hackert, Joe Kinney (Samantha Nash), Emily Kinney, Blake Born, Ted Born, Tyler (Nicole) Fox, Evan (Ashley) Ljunghag, Lauren Ljunghag, Carly (Kyle) Peterman, Nathan Lorentz and great-grandchildren, Colton Fox, Tenley Fleming and Nolan Kinney. Preceding in death are her parents, five brothers, two sisters. Due to her Alzheimer's disease, the CareTrak program in Decatur, was set up in her honor by daughters Sue and Jill. A special thanks to Amy Lofland, her homecare giver, and the Piatt County Nursing Home Halcyon Unit Staff for the excellent, loving care given to Dee during her journey. "
