Farmington- Patricia Anne Threw, 94, of Farmington, passed away at 12:57 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Proctor Place in Peoria. She was born on August 5, 1928 in Du Quoin, Illinois, a daughter of Richard and Freda (Dikeman) Chipman. She married Egbert Glenn Threw on April 17, 1949 in Farmington. He preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death is her parents, one granddaughter, Bethamy Threw, one grandson, Brady Threw, and one sister, Peggy Quin.

Surviving are her children, Deborah O’Donnell of Waxahachie, Texas; Richard (Pamela) Threw of Peoria; Michael “Mick” (Debra) Threw of Trivoli; Patrick “Kelly” (Louisa) Threw of Farmington; six grandchildren, Ryan O’Donnell, Marshall Threw, Spencer Threw, Mackenzie Threw, Sean Threw; and four great-grandchildren, Savonia Mahr-Threw, Hannah O’Donnell, Emma O’Donnell, and Kathryn Wiesbrock.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Farmington, and P.E.O. Chapter AE. She was an avid bridge player.

Per Patricia’s wishes, there will be a memorial service at a later date, and cremation rites will be accorded through Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Farmington.
