Kimberly Thompson, age 53, of Lansing, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2022, in the comfort of her home due to natural causes. Kim was born on November 12, 1969. She had a passion for caring for others and worked as a home CNA and general manager. Also known as Mom and Nana Kim, she loved spending time with her family and going on long truck rides with her husband, Ted. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, archery, fishing, shopping, and watching TV.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Sharon Mullen and Gilbert Malin. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ted Thompson; children: Jason Thompson and his wife Kayla Perry, Corey Thompson, and Angelina Reed; and grandchildren: Brennon Thompson, Raylynn Iclan, Liam Reed, Kyrin Bemer , Kingston Bemer, and Khalin Bemer. She is also survived by her siblings: Sandra Vandenbosce, Cathy Mallen, Joe Mallen, Jamie Mallen, and Cynthia Mallen; mother-in-law, Sarah Hodspeth; and cousin, Melinda Mallen.
