VOLZ, Eugene “Gene”

Eugene Volz (Gene) age 74 born in Union Township, OH on August 19, 1948 passed away peacefully surrounded by his 4 children, dog, and good friend on December 9, 2022. He is preceded in death by parents Joseph & Mildred Volz and brother Harold Volz. He is survived by his 2 sisters Julie (Jerry Sharp), Judy (Rick Albright) 1 brother Robert (Karen Volz), 1 son Brian Volz, 3 daughters Holly Volz, Molly (Justin Back), Megan (Josh Laubach), 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Gene was a man of few words but a friend of so many. He enjoyed projects galore (indoor & outdoor). He could fix anything and worked as a heavy equipment operator till retirement. His stable presence is something that will never be forgotten.
