Della Mae Jordon age 87 passed away on September 1, 2017. She was born in Twiggs County Georgia on September 17, 1929 to Homer and Beulah Mae Wimberly. She was a long-time resident of the area and retiree of the Marriott Hotel in Saddlebrook NJ as a Housekeeping Supervisor. Della enjoyed cooking, walking, sewing and reupholstering furniture. She was a beloved wife to Robert T. Davis in his time of need, staying by his side until his death, and then again she showed incredible compassion with James B. Jordan, also caring for him and widowing him. Della was preceded in death by her first spouse Robert T. Davis (1980), her second spouse James B. Jordan (2003), her son Gregory Davis, grandchildren Terrance Davis, Katrina Davis and Tonese Mae Williams, brothers Robert Wimberly and Homer Wimberly and sister Melba Cook. She leaves to cherish her children Bobby Davis, Katherine Ellis, Rhoda James, Judy Brown (Joseph), and Darlene Lee (Stanley). Eighteen grandchildren - Lonnie (Ebonie), Taharba (Mirabai), Gloria, Clarence(Kenya), Kim, Razhon (Cheryl), Gregory Jr., Ernest, Joseph Jr., Casanova, Jerry, Juan, Anthony, and Michael. Brothers James Wimberly and Jackie Webb, Sisters Arlene Curtis, Ellen Jefferson and Beverly Webb and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends.
