Michelle D. Barnes of Topeka, Kansas passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2022. She was born on September 5, 1975, to Frank Barnes and Dorothy Jean Ingram in Helena Arkansas. Michelle moved to Topeka Kansas in 1976 where she attended school and resided until her passing. She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Michelle had a passion for helping people and worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide and a home health provider. She loved her children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She leaves to mourn her passing; two sons, Darius Barnes and Arturo Redmond of Topeka, Kansas; one daughter Desiree Allen of Topeka Kansas; five grandchildren, Lyric Joy Ann Barnes, Damarius Saint Barnes, Darius Deon Barnes Jr, Geovanni Tai’Shawn Redmond and Ricki Ma’kahai Redmond; one brother, Sterling Robinson of Kansas City. She will be missed by a host of aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
