Adam G. Beck
<p>BECK, Adam G. age 44, of Vandalia, passed away December 7, 2022. Adam was born July 9, 1978 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Rev. Michael and Mickey Beck. Adam was a devoted husband, father, friend, and coworker. He was genuinely kind, generous, supportive, and one of the most down to earth individuals. Adam’s world was his house full of girls. He loved going to the beach, playing board games, and attending sporting events and concerts with his family. He loved IU basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. Adam was an avid golfer and he played often with a core group of special friends, his father, and his brother.</p><p>Adam grew up in Corydon, Indiana where he was on the high school basketball team and golf team. He graduated from DePauw University where he was a member of ATO. He then worked his entire career for Speedway/Marathon/7-11. Adam was a people person who loved others hard, formed deep friendships with so many throughout his life, and will be missed immensely.</p><p><br></p><p> Adam was preceded in death by his son, Gavin S. Beck. </p><p><br></p><p> Adam is survived by his wife and best friend of 21 years, Shanna Phillips Beck; his two sweet daughters, Avery and Kayden; parents Michael and Mickey Beck; brother Aaron (Risa) Beck; in-laws Shawn Phillips and Dian D. Phillips; brother in-law Matt (Crystal) Phillips; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear-dear friends.</p><p><br></p><p> The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr., Dayton OH 45415. Please feel free to come as you are or wear your favorite golf shirt in honor of Adam. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Victory Church, 4645 S. County Road 25A, Tipp City, OH 45371. Pastor Andy Warren will officiate.
