"Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather" Maggie Valley, Timothy Ray Cantrell, age 56, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his residence after a four-month illness. Tim was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and had resided in Haywood County since 2009. He was the son of Carolyn Foster Cantrell of Chesnee, South Carolina and the late James W. Cantrell. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Cantrell. Tim was employed as a glass installer at Blue Ridge Glass Company. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking and camping. In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his wife of 34 years, Brenda Bremer Cantrell; a daughter, Katrina King (Andrew) of Waynesville; three brothers, James “Dean”, Donnie and Tony Cantrell; and his grandson, Heath Willard King. At Tim’s request, no formal funeral services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, 717 S.
