Cathy Baker, age 44, of Gloucester, Virginia, died Friday, February 8, 2019 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, Virginia. Catherine Virginia Baker was born June 25, 1974 in Lapeer, MI. She is the daughter of Leo and the late Pearl Jane "PJ" (Bristol) Baker Davis. Cathy grew up in the Almont and Romeo, MI areas. She is a graduate of Romeo High School, Class of 1993. She moved to Newport News, VA in 2000. Cathy moved to Gloucester, VA in 2004 and has lived there since. She was employed by Farm Fresh Grocery Stores as a customer service desk manager for 22 years. Cathy was a former member of the Imlay City VFW Auxiliary. She was a huge University of Michigan Fan and loved everything Michigan football. She had hopes of going back to school to become a pharmacy technician. She is survived by; her father Leo Baker of Sevierville, Tennessee; her two sisters: Heather Baker of Imlay City, MI and Bryanna Baker of Romeo, MI; Fianc: Gabriel Faath of Gloucester, VA; and her stepfathers: Wesley Davis of Newport News, VA and Mike Hamlin of Virginia Beach, VA. Cathy was preceded in death by; her mother: Pearl Jane "PJ" Bristol Baker Davis; brother: James Gordon Baker: and her grandparents: Gordon & LaVonne Bristol and Frank & Catherine Baker. The funeral will be held 1 pm, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Interment will follow at Imlay Township Cemetery. The family will be available for visitation 5-7 pm, Thursday, February 14, 2019 and 10-1 pm, Friday, February 15 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
