Anna (Majczyk) Ratkowski, 95, of Erie, passed away December 6, 2022, at Parkside at Glenwood. She was born in Erie, Pa on August 19, 1927, daughter of the late John and Marcella (DeLuga) Majczyk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Ratkowski in 2008, her son, Stephen Ratkowski, grandson, Matthew Ratkowski, sisters, Tessie Kolodziejczak and Jane Rizzo, brothers, Harry, Stanley, John and Joseph Majczyk, and her son in law Joseph Torok.

Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to church at St. Luke and cooking and knitting.

She is survived by her children, Mary Setcavage (Joseph) of North East, Pa, Rita Torok of Erie, Timothy Ratkowski (Joanne) of Summit Twp., and Lucy Ratkowski of Erie; her siblings, Sophie Zawadzki of Albion and Anthony Majczyk of Erie; six grandchildren, Mark Torok (Martha) of Rhode Island, Amy Davis (Danny) of Virginia, Julie Torok of Erie, Jayme Tobin (James) of Harborcreek, Erica Ratkowski of Millcreek and Ryan Ratkowski (Aman) Garden Grove, CA.; seven great grandchildren, Daniella Davis, Presley Davis, Olivia Torok, Josie Torok, L.J. Walls, Ava Tobin and Eli Tobin. In addition, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anna’s family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Parkside at Glenwood and AseraCare for the care that they gave Anna during her stay.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, December 12, 2022, at St. Luke Catholic Church 421 East 38th Street at 10:00 am. Private burial will be in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to davisgarrfuneralhome.com.
