Christi Dawn Kerns – Etowah, TN

Christi Dawn Kerns, 48, Etowah, TN passed away, Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Christi was born on December 27, 1973, in Kingsport, TN and was the daughter of Mattie Reach and the Charlie Kerns.

In addition to her father, her first husband, Steven Tremblay preceded her in death.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Mattie Reach is her daughters, Candace Tremblay and Penny Scoggins, sons, Joshua Tremblay, Kyle Kerns, and a bonus son, Charles Przybycki, her son-in-law, William Scoggins, grandchildren, Myla Tremblay, Justin Przybycki, Aden Kerns, Melfina Kerns, Sarah Kerns, Rosealina Scoggins, and Layla Scoggins, siblings, Brenda Ramsey, Diane Kerns, and Chris Kerns, her special cousin, Pricilla Tipton-Wasaya, and special friend, Laura Krajesky.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Gate City Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Denny Hass officiating. The Kerns Sisters will provide the music.

It was the wish of Christi to be cremated and her cremains buried in the Kerns Cemetery, Duffield, VA, which will take place on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
