Joanne Marie Bourque

<p>JoAnne Marie Bourque (nee Guest) was born on September 17th 1960 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. She was the oldest of Wilfred and Darlene Guest's four children. JoAnne lived and went to school for part of her childhood in Sylvania, then attended school in McKague when she and her family moved to a farm just north of the hamlet. She remained there with her family until she met Bradley Bourque in 1984. The pair were married in 1986 and together they raised two sons; Wesley and Shane. Joanne and Brad lived in the Naicam/Dalton area from 1984 - 1988 when they moved to an acreage just outside of McKague. In 1990 they moved for the final time settling on an acreage just down the road from her parents Wilfred and Darlene, where they remained until her passing. </p><p><br></p><p>Over the years Joanne worked a variety of different jobs; including cooking with her sister Lynn for Guest Bros &amp; Irving construction while they were still only teenagers; but ultimately, she most enjoyed being a homebody. You’d often find her spending her time with her grandsons, coffee in hand, doing all the things she loved such as gardening, baking, and making memories. Joanne was a crime tv buff, had a massive pig collection, and a love for animals, especially her dog Hannah. She also really loved spending Sundays at the cabin yard with family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Joanne was predeceased by two sons Michael and Joshua Bourque, her mother Darlene Guest, sister Lynn Fedirko, brother David Guest and nephew Nathan Fedirko </p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish her memory are her father Wilfred Guest, husband Bradley Bourque, sons Wesley (Katrina) Guest and Shane (Jasmine) Bourque, grandsons: Blake, Jason, Jordan and Layne Guest and Hunter and Gunner Bourque, brother Colin (Donna Jean) Guest and brother-in-law Richard Fedirko; along with three generations of nieces and nephews, several cousins and many friends. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Service</p><p>2:00 p.m.</p><p>Tuesday, December 6, 2022</p><p>Sylvania Community Hall</p><p>Sylvania, Saskatchewan</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Donations may be made to the </p><p>Canadian Cancer Society</p><p>as a token of remembrance</p><p><br></p>
