YUN YUN FENG

Yun Yun passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 3, 2022 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Dr. Zeng Kang Shen. Loving mother of Sophie Weillin Shen. Devoted daughter of Yuzhu Wei Feng and the late Guo Hua Feng. Dear sister of Peter, Charles, Ying Ying and Eugene; and many nieces and nephews.

Yun Yun was born in Shanghai, China. She was blessed with brilliant musical talents and began studying piano performance professionally at the age of 11 at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. After moving to the United States in the early 1980s, Yun Yun earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Performance Piano from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Yun Yun was an accomplished concert pianist, and well-respected piano educator. Her music enriched and touched many hearts even outside of the musical arts community, as she volunteered to conduct choirs and serve in the music ministry at various local churches. She lived a vibrant life, full of musical passion.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday, December 9 from 10:00 to 10:30 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 1439 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ.
