<p>Angelita Torres, 86 of Alpine passed away on November 30, 2022, in Alpine. Angelita Torres was born on August 2,1936 to Leonedez and Santiga Hernandez in Terlingua, TX. She was a housewife. Angelita was married to Vidal B Torres, Sr. and was the mother to Vidal Torres, Jr. (Lisa), Frankie, Angel, Sr. (Cecilia), Sylvia Contreras (Esequiel “Zeke” Sr.), and Joel. She is the grandmother of Angel Torres, Jr. (Precilla), Esmeralda (BJ Epson), Julian (Yvonne), Lina Borrego (Eddie), Sonia Rodriguez (Stefano), Vidal, III, Mireya, Esequiel “Zeke”, Jr., Xzavier and Isabella; great-grandmother to Madyson and Francisco Torres, Kiyona Graham, Jameer and Kingston Epson, Ariana, Anaya and Alessandra Torres along with six other beautiful great- grandchildren. </p><p> </p><p>Angelita is also survived by three brothers, Sammy, Guillermo, Domingo and their spouses, as well as many nieces and nephews. Angelita was preceded in death by her loving husband Vidal B. Torres, Sr. </p><p> </p><p>Grandma Angie (as everyone knew her) was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and was very faithful to the Catholic Church. She was a member of the Guadalupanas. </p><p> </p><p>Our family will always remember Grandma Angie for her kind heart, her spirit, her special blessings and most of all her cooking. </p><p> </p><p>Rosary will be Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Alpine Memorial Funeral Home Memorial Chapel located at 209 W. Sul Ross Avenue.
