<p>Mr. Marlon Fields age 82 of Fayette, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa. </p><p>Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. </p><p>He was preceded in death by his wife: Frances Fields, parents: Jessie and Opal Hydrick Fields, two brothers: Harlon Fields and James Ronald Fields, nephew: Chris Leonard, and niece: Tracie Shellnut. </p><p>Survivors include his sisters: Patricia Leonard of Millport, and Joyce Childress of Fayette, special niece: Dawn Winters (Matt) of Millport, and Elizabeth Childress of CA, nephews: Chuck Fields (Rhoda) of Millport, and Joe Childress (Melissa) of OH, brother-in-law: Roger Dale Rosser of Daphne, AL, and special companion, Virginia Owens of Fayette. </p><p>Pallbearers will be: Larry Humber, Chuck Fields, Ricky Mayers, Mark Prater, Johnny Hocutt, and Johnny Sullivan. </p>Obituary
