Charles Arthur Sarlund, age 82, died on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in Bellaire, Michigan. 

He was born on February 27, 1940 in Bessemer, Michigan, to Oliver and Anna (Weimeri) Sarlund. Charlie grew up at Walnut Lake, West Bloomfield, Michigan. He graduated from Birmingham High School then Ferris State University where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. His career began as a high school business teacher, transitioned to business ownership and finished in sales. Upon his retirement, he worked at a country club as a golf starter. Golf was one of his passions and a lifelong interest. Charlie enjoyed spending time Up North and at the Jersey Shore with his family. He was an active member of Kirk in the Hills, having served as an Usher, Trustee, Elder and Deacon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret A. (Higgins) Sarlund in 2010. They were married for 46 years.
