Marilyn F. (Woods) Williams, age 79, of West Union, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 01, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Marilyn was born July 26, 1943, in Batavia, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Freda Woods. She was a graduate from Mt. Orab High School in 1962. Over the years, she worked as a cook in Georgetown, Ohio at different establishments. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother (GG), and an aunt. She is survived by her son, Elmer L. Woods of Metropolis, Illinois. Her daughter, Paula K. (Pat) Lindsley of West Union, Ohio. Grandchildren; Heather and husband Eric Fannin of Peebles, Ohio; Dustin and Carly Cummings of West Union, Ohio, and Chase Cummings and fiancé Erin Downey. Great grandchildren, McKenley, Sylvia, Reid, and Reese. And survived by one niece and several nephews.

She will be greatly missed.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
