LOUDONVILLE — Ana Domke Urizar, 89, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, after a long illness.
She was born in Sucre, Bolivia, in 1933 to Aenne Jacobson Domke and William Domke of Germany and was the middle of three girls. She was predeceased by her longtime love, Rodrigo Urizar, whom she met on the beaches of Chile at 15. The two married in Santiago in 1958 and moved, with their family, to the United States five years later. Together, they have three daughters, Cecilia (Jim) Cumming, Beatriz (Peter) Schuyler, Christine (Tom) Urizar-Hamilton; five grandchildren, Ryan, Kelsey (Nick), Joanna (Brandon), Stephanie, and Jimmy; and one great-grandchild, Russell.
Ana was beloved by all who knew her and loved nothing more than spending time with Rodrigo, her children, grandchildren, and close friends.
The family would like to acknowledge Ana’s nurses, Cindy, Joni, Linda, Nancy, and Toni, for their love and care for her over the last year.
Per Ana’s request, there will be no services held.
