<p>Mrs. Mary Alice Rigdon Beverly, 82, passed away Wednesday (November 30, 2022) at her residence in Waycross following an extended illness.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born in Ware County to the late Ernest Desso Rigdon and Mary Priscilla Strickland Rigdon. She was a homemaker most of her life and attended High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ronnie J. Beverly; the mother who raised her, Varrah Simpson; and a brother, Carlton Simpson.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her four children, Allen Beverly (Pamela) of Waycross, Ronnie J. Beverly, Jr. (Denise) of Waycross, Cheryl Pickett (Matthew) of Atlanta, and Pam Beverly Douglas of Waycross; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, C.H. Simpson of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday (December 3, 2022) at High Bluff Cemetery.
