<p>Rittman -- Deborah M. Colvin, age 71, of Rittman, formerly of Elyria, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, November 28, 2022, at her residence in Rittman, following a brief battle with bone cancer.</p><p><br></p><p>Debbie was born on August 15, 1951, in Vermilion, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Betty (Biddington) Turner and graduated from Avon High School with the class of 1970. She married Terrence "Terry" Colvin on October 27, 1973, in Avon, Ohio, and they have been happily married for the last 49 years.</p><p><br></p><p>She spent most of her life as a homemaker, staying home to raise her two children and care for her husband. She enjoyed crafting, decorating the house (especially at the holidays), crocheting, and putting together floral arrangements. She was a very loving and caring mom, very humble, sensitive, and always looked after her kids. She was always very good about getting everyone together, and enjoyed putting dinners together to spend time with her family.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are her husband, Terrence Colvin of Rittman; daughter, Leona (Creg) Boring of Rittman; son, Terrence "Terry" Colvin II of Rittman; sister, Sherry (Larry) Mitchell of Avon; three brothers, Joe Turner of Avon Lake, Steve Turner of South Amherst, and Gary Turner of South Amherst; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Turner.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call from 5-7pm on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman.</p><p><br></p><p>Private family burial will take place at Rittman Cemetery at the convenience of the family.</p><p><br></p><p>Auble-Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is handling the arrangements.
