Alice Campbell Oakley, Age 80, of Cameron, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

A Going Home Celebration will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 3:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Everett and Lewis Ring officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 2 until 3. Burial will follow at House of the Lord Cemetery in Cameron.

Alice was born in Moore County on July 25, 1942, to the late Claude Carson Campbell and Dora Von Williamson Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Oakley, sisters, Shirley Blackman and Lois Ring, brothers, Albert, John, Ervin, Jimmy, Marvin, Carl, Paul and Howard.

Alice was fully and selflessly devoted to her family. She was an amazing cook and meticulous keeper of the home in addition to working a full-time job outside the home for many years.
